Second time of staying here. A home from home. Warm welcome by Norma. Large clean room, lovely bathroom with plenty of hot water. Norma happy to suggest eating places for the evening and organised a taxi pick up which arrived within 5 minutes. Breakfast was freshly cooked and of a high standard. Tea, coffee, juices, scones, cakes and biscuits available in the dining room for us to help ourselves to as well if hungry at other times. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return if in Birmingham again.

Quiet, welcoming base for Birmingham visit
Westbourne Lodge is situated on a relatively quiet street off busy Hagley Road. There is parking on the forecourt.
We stayed for a weekend for a family event in Birmingham. The staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient. The first floor room (no lift) was a good size, well decorated, well furnished with a comfortable bed. There was an en-suite toilet and shower. The dining room overlooks the large garden.
The Full English Breakfast was fine with extra tea, coffee, toast offered by an attentive waitress. Breakfast was served between 8am and 9am at weekends.
We would happily stay there again for a weekend event.

This accommodation was clearly in the throws of redecoration
. Our elderly travellers really struggled without the
Stair bannister . The lodge was in need of some repairs . Our
Bathroom ceiling was leaking during a heavy weather shower and the
Ceiling was in a poor state of repair.

pleasant stay
Clean comfortable accomodation. Situated on quiet road so enjoyed a good night's sleep. Bedroom was nicely decorated, good bed, large en-suite, excellent tv. Staff were very pleasant & service first class. Breakfast was well cooked, quality food. Recently plastered hallway indicated some re-decoration was underway - but still spotlessly clean everywhere.
