atmosphere/decor
The grubby cream corridors were a bit of a downer and could be brightened up with a lick of paint. Cleare directions to lifts would be good for those of us travelling with a disabled person. The furniture in the bar also looked a bit worn. This was a shame as the breakfast was good and the dining hall lovely. Fine for a stopover, but a bit depressing for a holiday.

Borderline value for money
Stayed on night for bed and breakfast. Room was newly refurbished and good, with beautiful view from window. Breakfast was less good, with poor service, poor selection of fruit and cereals and had to ask for pot of tea to be replaced, as it was nearly cold whebn served.
Would stay again if price was lower, e.g a special deal.

Beautiful views hotel in need of an upgrade
Ok so we booked this hotel as it was en route to our next destination but we had just stayed in a 5 star 13th century castle for less money (albeit on a deal) so this had a lot to live up to! The views here at a The Victoria are beautiful & in its in a great location if you want to walk up Snowdon. Unfortunately this hotel itself is very dated & as a heavily pregnant woman using a shower in the bath was very difficult. Also being pregnant with a sweet craving was disappointed to find no biscuits or hot chocolate in the room. We won't be in a rush to stay here again.

Snowdonia stay
Great room We asked for a room with a view , which we got , didn't realise that it was on third floor and would get very warm . A small price to pay for a superb view of Snowden !
Could not fault service , staff or the food .

Climbers hostel at London hotel prices
Bitterly disappointed with this booking. Royal Victoria hotel is in diar need to complete refurbishment. We paid(we think london prices) which was supposed to be a superior room which turned out to be not more than a cupboard, shower dirty and whole room very, very disappointing.
Food mediocre, service dreadful.
All in all ruined our his it to beautiful snowdon. Late rooms.com you've let us down, where you've never let us down before -shall we use you again???
