Five out of ten
Never slept the first night, the room was hot and stuffy one window that only opened three inches it was situated close to the kitchen and the kitchen extractor fan was running all night with a loud droning noise, I closed the window but it did not make a lot of difference, and then the room got really hot and I started to sweat profusely so I had to open the window and the door(which I wedged open with my suitcase) I packed ready to go home the next morning, but after long discussions they moved me to another room away from the noise. The food! I've had better food and more of it at a back street café and at a fraction of the price.
This hotel is only good for a group of golfers with plenty of money. As my tick below group of friends (Golfers)

Had a lovely weekend here, I booked this for my partners birthday as a surprise Birthday present. Even tho we do not play golf thought it would be a nice treat just to get away, when I booked it did say that the spa facilities we're under renovation, didn't think that also meant the pool and gym as it didn't state anything about the health facilities being under renovation , I mentioned this to a receptionand and they agreed that the way it read was misleading and were very apologetic. Apart from that we had nothing but a lovely time. The food was very good and came out piping hot, the staff always had a smile on there faces. The room itself was very comfortable. All in all a good weekend

Enjoyable overnight stay
A lovely hotel. Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast served by very friendly professional staff. Excellent customer service. No complaints at all. Only disappointment for myself & my husband was that the gym etc was not in use as being refurbished & we were not aware of that & had packed our gym gear etc. But other than that we had a lovely stay & would certainly stay again.

Very Friendly
The staff went out of their way to make this an extremely pleasant stay. For example, when we asked for a table in the conservatory to see the loveley veiws at breakfast a table was set specially for us. The reception staff were also very helpful and friendly.
