Good location. Good but small standard room. Good breakfast. Courteous staff. Comfortable quiet bar.
Only disappointment was that the late evening porter could not supply us with any milk for coffee making facility in the room!!.
Not sufficient milk packs etc for when you just fancy a brew in the room.
Good clean modern room, well sized and in quiet location
The area has plenty of shops nearby, public transport and easy access to London's busy west end/Center.
This hotel is placed in a lovely area, quite and clean too. The Hotel is very nice, clean, modern and functional. It is not the most impressive hotel, but it is a very good clean and nice room for the budget.
As a single female I felt VERY safe and looked after at this hotel.
The staff were VERY courteous and helpful. The breakfast was vast, a REALLY big choice. I would recommned this hotel. The bath towel was huge!
Enjoyable overnight stay, room was excellent and very clean, ensuite bathroom was sparkling!.
Great value for money and would definitely stay at this hotel in the future and would recommend to everyone.
Good location but...
I booked the basement single room (which actually had a double bed which was a bonus) and only needed a few hours' sleep and a shower before an early breakfast and leave.
I thought the design of the room was clever and for a short stay it was great. Upon checking in I was invited to pay £12 extra for breakfast and I was happy to do so. There is no room service from the bar and so I went to the bar and asked for a (very reasonably priced given the location) bottle of Merlot and 1 glass. I was made to feel a tad frowned upon and was even asked if I needed 2 glasses. Turns out I didn't quite drink the whole bottle but it's nice to have option after a long day.
The major downfall for me though was the shower which had no cold water and I ended up burning my feet and hand (as the smaller of the 2 shower heads in the cubicle was a metal handheld affair). After trying all combinations of taps/shower heads/pressures I was afraid i'd be late for my early morning appointment and had to make do with a good wash. I couldn't wash my hair. The sink had no plug and there was a strong smell of drains coming up through the plughole.
Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, fresh fruit, coffee top ups and pleasant staff. When checking out I explained about the shower and how dangerously hot it was and fair play, they knocked the price of breakfast off my bill. I do hope they've fixed the problem and not just fobbed me off.
Nice, Clean and Modern
This hotel has modern facilities and it is very clean.
Although I was put in the basement - I guess this was because the room I got was cheap - the room had a decent size for the price and it is quite close to the underground station
Only downside is, their food isn outsourced to third party, so there was a 45mins wait for food and £3 for food delivery to be paid in cash. However, there are loads of nice restaurants around the area, so I opted to eat out instead. I can't fault this place
