Central location, Friendly, helpful staff.
Hotel is lovely.
Staff are lovely. Food is lovely. Everything just lovely.
Just returned from Dublin.
Stayed at the castle hotel, very nice big room nice and warm. Tea coffee making facilities. Was very pleased with the comfortable accommodation the only complaint was the cold breakfast even when the food comes up from the kitchen it is Luke warm. We mentioned this and was told they would tell the chef. What a shame otherwise perfect.
Castle Hotel, Dublin
Centrally located, clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff.
Great Location, Parking a huge plus but pricey
Good value but rooms vary noisy from outside and above
Lovely co for table hotel.
Rooms clean, comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel could do with some sound proofing as it sounded like the people in the room above us we're going to come through the ceiling at times but I would definitely recommend staying here. It's very central and the cafe next door sells lovely muffins!!!!!
The hotel did not even have a basic disabled policy in place.
The first room we were sent to I didn't even see to walk a very long way along a very narrow corridor, then we had to try to get round a very difficult angle with me in a wheelchair. That was all bad enough but for only one night could probably put up with it, then we realised there was about eight stairs to get down, my husband went to see the room and he said we had to go the same distance again but in the opposite direction. My husband went back to reception, and explained, I have to say the staff were lovely and give us another room which was a lot easier to reach, turned out it was a family room with four beds in it. The hotel is on a very busy main road, it does not have double glazing and the noise all night was unbelievable, got no sleep at all. I know this all seems very negative but I have to say staff were great, food was excellent, and entertainment was good also. I am going to put would yes to recommend to a friend, but this is if they did not have any mobility issues.
Hotel is very central with good facilities.
Reception staff are helpful and staffed 24 hours a day. We were on the 4th floor and there was a lift. May be difficult for less abled people as bar and entertainment are downstairs and no lift.
My Sunday night stay
Staff very friendly on arrival and gave us directions to the hotel car park.
Parking in this car park would not be something I would recommend to a novice driver. The car park cost 15 Euros for a 24 hr stay. the hotel is very central.. My room 319 was very very hot when I arrived but one of the reception staff turned off the heater and opened the double glazed and sash windows for me ... Shower fine and bed comfortable. The 3 course menu @ €20 was excellent. Bar service fast and pleasant and live music provided.Stairs/floors v creaky and walls thin but even though I slept with the windows open street noise was not a problem.
Great location and a top Irish breakfast!
Room a bit dated but excellent customer service, staff couldn't do enough.
Bar and restaurant both nice. Breakfast was excellent and a quick stroll to O'connell street - a great choice for a short stay.
