One night stay, but much more beckoned
Very friendly staff, good ambiance and very good company. Room was good and very close to dining room. Everyone extended the expected north eastern welcome. Would definitely stay here again, nothing was too much trouble. This area has so much to offer.

Great Ambience-Poor Room
Wonderful position, grounds. Room 93 a let-down. Cramped, dark, no drawer space, no shower gel or soap, difficult to close curtains.
Finding our room after the meal meant going outside to find Rception - in the rain-stumbling in the dark. Later we found the light outside the Reception entrance was not working.
Reception staff very good but shoud ask if a ported was required - later to mins to find one.
