Disappointing stay, not worth the money
The bed room was like a sauna when I went in! Looked nice enough though and bed was v comfy.
Shower pretty small and despite staying 2 nights they didn't replace the shower gel/toiletries that I'd used the first night. The toilet paper was cheap and nasty as though bought in a pound shop, yuck!
Was really disappointed with the conference facilities - we were in a conference room close to reception and it was so noisy with sounds of guests and staff often just outside the door. Despite being asked repeatedly to quieten down / move or for them to put a sign up saying there was a private event taking place nothing happened. People kept just walking in to the room randomly. Even staff came in to interrupt to ask when the organisers would be finishing up, despite having the room booked to 8pm and it was only about 3pm at this stage. Very unprofessional.
Room service was okay, although didn't bring us food quite as was described on the menu which was annoying.
I wouldn't waste my money staying here again, it certainly didn't feel 4 or 5 star.

Good value for money
Large, spacious room and bathroom. Clean, comfortable. Bathroom floor freezing (but they often are) but with bath and separate shower. All very nice. Breakfast good. Couldn't use Spa as arrived too late.

Great night sleeps
A nice looking hotel with a good size room and a very comfy bed. One of the best nights sleeps I've had in a long time in a hotel.

Brandon Hall Hotel
A smart and comfortable hotel with mostly cheerful and polite staff. The food in the restaurant was good but over-priced. Some noisy guests in corridors late at night and early in the morning.

Very good value
Lovely accommodation and great service from reception. The bar was nice and attentive staff. Dinner was ok - the menu was not that adventurous and the food was nice enough but not amazing. The spa area was good with sauna, steam room and pool - no jacuzzi though.
Lovely grounds and would stay again.

Brilliant hotel and brilliant staff
Very pleased with our my choice of hotel. The food was superb and the waitress, Biz, was fantastic - very good service and smiled all the way through. Even the chef came out to say hi.
Front of house was very good, polite, helpful and very smart - well done to the two ladies on here.
Pool is brilliant and warm and all have been very perfect during my stay up here. Would recommend this place an would come again. Well done to the team and see you at breakfast.
