Not great, unfortunately.
We booked a room for February 21st 2015. A basement room was available at £100.00. There are three rooms in the basement and if our room was anything to go by, the other two probably had slight damp issues as well and no natural light.
To charge that much for a basement room is slightly outrageous. Unfortunately for us, we could not change rooms as the hotel was fully booked.
If there are only basement rooms available, I would suggest you book somewhere else. I am sure the other rooms are probably quite adequate, nice even. But our experience wasn't great.

car parking
Overall a nice hotel with friendly service, however £18 for parking is way over the top. May be they should just charge a little more for the room and keep the car parking charge at a reasonable level.

Average
I paid for a double sea view room and while it was a great location and the staff were very friendly I found the room a bit old fashioned and the bed sheets weren't clean. I was hoping for it to be a bit nicer for the amount I paid.

Great hotel and a good price
Everything was fantastic. On arrival I realised that I would have to pay for parking so just parked on the street next door and it was fine. The room was good. We arrived and left whilst it was dark so didn't manage to see the sea view.
Great service all round. Couldn't ask for anything more
