Rubbish
I have stayed in lots of hotels (all grades) and this was the worst. My room was painfully small for a double, had a damp patch, a window that has condensation in the double glazing, thin walls, sloping floor, tardy carpet, so much noise from the main road and not worth the money at all. I am actually a person of small needs and can cope with most room types but this was a frustrating experience. It is not acceptable to charge £84 for this no matter where you are. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was poor. I did try to look for some positives but I would not go back if you paid me.

not as bad as I thought
I booked the hotel on pictures, silly me, I didn't read many of the reviews. Then I started to, then started looking for new hotels. No need though, staff were polite and accommodating. Room was nice, although there was a significant damp patch on one wall and the sea view was marred by the porch area of the hotel coming a third of the way up the window. The couch had rips and stains, but the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing.
One major drawback, sound travels, we heard everything that was happening in the room above and I suspect they had the same problem.

Fine
The building itself is grotty and smells. The carpets probably need replacing. The room itself was clean and so was the bathroom. It was fine.

Sleeping in a small oven!
I have stayed at this hotel before in a double room which was very good. However, the single room I was given was cramped and unbearably hot. I can't remember ever being offered anything quite like it anywhere and would not wish to stay again on the same room basis.. At £90 for bed & breakfast it representing incredibly poor value for money.

Very poor
Verify poor room, never stayed in a hotel quite as bad, if this was a choice to stay I would choose a b&b over this, and you would save se money! Hotel was very shabby and dated

Took a long time to locate someone to check in. Customer service varied greatly dependent on the staff. Have stayed and worked with a number of Best Western Hotels - this one let the side down. Room was much cleaner on the second day. Room had a bad smell on first night.
