I read the reviews and wasn't disappointed.
Exceptional customer service, very helpful and considered all your needs, eg still or sparkling water in the room. We chose to have breakfast in Little Venice - so can't comment on the food. We had a v comfortable 4 poster and a wonderful room with seating area. The lift is so retro. The tube is paces away - and the area is light on traffic.
We only stayed one night but I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat.
From the minute you walk through the door you are made to feel very welcome. The staff are attentive and very informative. They can't do enough for you. The hotel is beautiful in a classic sense and the room we had, had the most gorgeous four poster bed. Food was to a good standard and the area it is situated in was lovely.
For a romantic getaway it is ideal. Y
The Colonnade, The Little Venice Town House
Comfy bed and good breakfast.
Unfortunately there was a strong smell of drains from the bathroom. It was very obvious so it should have been addressed before letting anyone stay in the room. I reported it so hope it has been dealt with.
Amazing gorgeous hotel staff lovely very polite and courteous
Would recommend little gem of a hotel
Lovely night spent in The Colonade
We had a lovely evening in a delightful room.
Very nice hotel once you got used to the lift. Very friendly and helpful staff. We would stay there again as nice and quiet. Bus stop into Oxford Street just across the road as is the tube stop. 10 mins walk from Paddington Station.
Not as expected
I asked for a quiet room when booking - I got put next to staff area in the basement so it was noisy.
Bed hard. Bathroom no heating (towel rail not on). Shower did not drain away so had to cut shower short. I would not have bothered to post these facts if they had let me change booking date (I had already paid).
Hotel with character and history
Very nice accommodation if a bit over priced
Very Sweet Hotel
Our room was lovely Bedding was a lovely quality and we had a lovely nights sleep.
Bathroom was a good size, everything was very clean
Would return again.
Well worth it for a junior suite
Was in London to go to Wembley and the hotel is just a short walk from stations on a direct line to Wembley Central.
Maida Vale is really quiet to say it is so close to the city. The hotel looks lovely inside and the suite we booked was sizeable and well worth the money. A lovely, comfortable four poster bed was so good that I am glad we set our alarm, or we might have missed our trains. Breakfast was nice, but with a full English it is often hard to be "spectacular". It left me wishing that I could stay there a while longer, which is a good sign!
A Leisure Weekend
Almost spot on.
The only negative on the cleanliness score was a soiled toilet..
