Clean room and comfortable bed.

Quiet for us. Would use this hotel again, room was definitely not a £299 room. Lovely staff. We could leave our suitcase in hotel after we checked out as we were not leaving town till the evening. This was great.

4 star facade - 3 star service

Sadly, this hotel promised much but delivered little.

There was no air conditioning in the room so the window had to be left open. Our room overlooked a large courtyard and any noise echoed which meant a disturbed night's sleep - especially in the early morning when deliveries were made to the hotel. We were left to work out where everything was at breakfast, and sadly, many of the staff we saw looked as if they should be looking for jobs they would enjoy. On both mornings of our stay, we watched a member of the dining room staff walking around with a tea towel draped over her shoulder and continually coming into contact with her long hair. If our stay in Newcastle had been any longer, we would have checked out and moved to the nearby Premier Inn. During our break, we stayed at two Premier Inns and the service was far superior to that which we found at Jury's Inn. On a positive note; our accommodation was clean and tidy, but sadly that isn't enough to make us want to return.

Very enjoyable stay.

Lovely hotel and room was spotless. Service pleasant. Good walking distance from city centre.

For the second time I have stayed here and was given a room that was equipped for a disabled person

This was the second time that this hotel has given me a Disabled room when I did not request one.

The first time I complained but was told that the Hotel was full and nothing could be done about it. So the second time I just accepted it. I would be most upset if I waas depriving a disabled person from having this as I know that these rooms are few.

Can not wait to come back!

I loved my stay here.

The rooms were emaculate the whole place was nicely decorated and the staff on reception were lovely and very helpful. It's a good location and I loved that there was a car park right opposite as this was very helpful considering I drove to Newcastle from Edinburgh. My only regret was that I only stayed one night. I will definitely be back!

Good hotel

This was a good pick to stay in Newcastle, the hotel was near the Center an near the train station..

The staff was so friendly, and the hotel overall was very good.... I would stay here again if I was going to Newcastle...... The breakfast was nice as well so if you stay here make sure you have breakfast

The duvet provided was too thick therefore too warm and there were no separate blankets provided

lt's not about the temperature of the room it's about supplying alternative bed covering
