Sadly wouldn't recommend
We arrived at 2pm (check in time) where the receptionist told me I had 3 bookings.
and then asked to spell my name very slowly 3 times. When she finally located my one booking she said she would let us know when the room was ready. Finally at 3.20 after sitting in reception for this hour and 20 mins, our room was available. We were on the 4th floor which wouldn't normally be a problem but the lift wasn't working and my partner has a lifelong very painful back injury and found the stairs quite difficult. The room was adequate although very small and incredibly lacking of air (the window opened 2 inches). The sink failed to empty but apart from that the bathroom was fine. We popped out in the afternoon and on our return could not park in the hotel car park as there was a party being held and the car park was full. All in all, not a good experience.
The room was spotless when we arrived but not cleaned throughout our stay.
The reception were helpful and friendly.
Enjoyable stay, will use again.
I stayed one night for business.
Easy to locate hotel and parking good, right outside. Local amenities good with TGI Fridays and Pizza Hut a very short walk. Staff friendly and helpful, fast check in. Lift not working but they did explain this and apologised. Room quiet & very good in general, Wifi easy to connect and fast. Breakfast excellent and again, attentive and friendly staff. I asked to park for a longer period on day of departure due to a local meeting. Receptionist very helpful and accommodated. So overall, a very good stay and will definitely use again for business.
This hotel has improved from the last time I visited this hotel
Hallmark of good quality at Croydon Aerodrome hotel
My stay at Hallmark hotel in Croydon with perfectly pleasant.
The staff are always friendly and helpful, and do their best to make your stay as nice as possible. The rooms vary in quality and price, I usually take the standard room, but for a little extra, a deluxe room can be acquired. The rooms are well appointed, in a good general state of decoration and repair, not excellent, but good. The rooms are generally clean, I think the bathroom can sometimes let the experience down a little, with details like tile cleanliness and lime scale not being attended to enough, but this doesn't mean it is dirty, just not as pristine as you might want a bathroom to be. The rooms are quiet enough, with only the odd intrusion by noise from other guests. Overall a thoroughly pleasant stay, just lacking a little extra attention to get it an excellent rating. Prices vary according to availability, on my last stay I got a very good price, so I was more than happy with my stay.
Handy overnight stay.
An art deco gem
I was very pleased to find this hotel with a fscinating history which is documented in photographs and text on walls throughout the hotel.
Very comfy and quiet. Just what I neede on a business trip. Off road parking is always a bonus. Will stay here again.
Not a lot wrong with the room and quality of service
The TV in the room could be on an adjustable bracket so that it could be pulled into a position that would be more comfortable to watch around the room.
Apart Friday m that I couldn't find fault with the room. Plenty of storage space. The bathroom had plenty of room with both a bath or shower with plenty of room to move around.
The hotel we stayed in was amazing.
No faults only half an hour from central london on train. Great!
Stayed in the hotel overnight as a wedding guest.
Found all the staff very friendly, polite and professional.
