I have stayed in Copthorne and Millenium Hotels and was disappointed on this occasion
Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was fine, but I was put off by the number of dos and don'ts relating to my shower. The shower had loads of hot water but was not very good, as it was too fine and just filled the bathroom with steam. I ordered a Millenium Salad in the dining room and was forced to return it as not being very nice. The replacement risotto was much better. Breakfast was overcooked and looked as though I had all the bits cleared from all the trays. It was only 8.30 at this time with a further hour for breakfasts.

clean room, spotless bathroom. A bit too hot for me! but very chilly with window open...a spare blanket would have been perfect. Decor getting a bit dated! but overall a very comfortable pleasant stay. Lovely receptionist. Breakfast quite expensive and very overcooked....only disappointment but would stay again.

City break at cenral Copthorne Hotel.
Central location is good - just a few minutes` walk from Union Street but pleasantly quiet. Lucky to get last parking space in small hotel car park on both occasions we have stayed. Only had breakfast which was fine, especially the sausages. Staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful. We got a room upgrade which was good customer relations as we will be regular visitors as our daughter stays nearby. A good city break hotel.

Hotel is a bit run down now, was probably nice in its day. Bathroom very dirty
Reception and staff was very pleasing first impression unfortunately went wrong from there. Even lift button is chipped.
Hotel carpets a bit threadbare and bathroom very tired and worse had a lot of dirt/ hair around bath.
Tv very old fashioned just felt very dated as a whole
Bed though was comfortable

Comfortable hotel
We were just staying for one night as we were off to the ballet. The room we chose was a twin as I was travelling with my teenage daughter. The beds were a good size I would say a small double which was great. The room was cozy as the storage heater was pumping out hot air - this I had to turn off before we went to bed otherwise it would have been too much! My only niggle would be that when we went downstairs to the bar to get a couple of drinks the lounge was very cold and so we didn't stay very long.
The breakfast was of a good quality and I would say value for money as there was a good choice. All the staff we found to be pleasant and helpful.
