Very pleasant stay
Especially helpful staff
Avoid front facing rooms
We stayed in Room 5 which faces the main street.
The room had a high padded counter/bar taking up an huge amount of space and as there was no dressing-table or mirror elsewhere in the small room, we had to use this counter for everything plus share with the tea-tray and a very dirty kettle. Both beds had seen better days and need replacing. Linen and towels very clean. The noise from the street extremely loud and had to close windows and secondary glazing to get some sleep but then no air. The room did however have a fan supplled (also on the bar counter!).
Lovely room, fantastic village
Location was brilliant, right in the centre of Morton in Marsh.
Was also very pleased with room, it was more like a flat. Bed was Superking size and really comfortable. On the whole, very impressed and would definitely book again.
Redesdale Arms Hotel
Room overlooking the courtyard was more than adequate in size. Lovely big shower. Tea/coffee facilities (with teapot and cafetiere) and a carraff of sherry and bottles of water too for a little added extra. If u had one gripe - the bed was too singles pushed together so there was a lump down the middle. Lovely selection of food for breakfast - from cereals to full english. Right in the centre of Moreton.
Poor quality cooked breakfast, breakfast not freshly cooked, had been standing for a while resulting in a soggy and overcooked breakfast.
Great location - loads of character and my third stay always all you would hope for in a Cotswold hotel - log fire etc.
Great autumn break
Last minute trip to see the autumn colours in the Cotswolds.
Excellent accommodation. Good food. Warm welcome.
Very friendly staff, helpful.
Room overlooking the street, so very noisy. It would also be very hot in the summer.
Quirky and and old fashioned with modern expectations
Loved the quirkiness of this hotel.
short doors, slanting floors, oak beams and stone walls. very polite and helpful staff. excellent buffet style breakfast, would definitely go back again.
room was not quite level , but surely that is a thing you expect in such a old building, it was full of character, ok, the shower was a little bit tight to enter and leave, but thats probably more down to my build than the shower itself , haha,
the food was wonderful, and the staff very helpful , i was even supplied with a bucket of warm water and some rags to clean my bike because i wanted to clean it because of the muddy roads the weekend we stayed
i certainly recommend this hotel
