Excellent accommodation very clean met all my needs, staff very polite and helpful and breakfast more than adequate, will definitely be staying again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in London.
Arrived after a delayed flight, check-in dealt with quickly, friendly staff.
Only problem was the temperature of the room, it was freezing, and heating did not work.
I mentioned to staff and they said they only turn on at night.
You could not fault the friendliness of every person that worked at the Byron hotel.
The room was quite small and for a 4* I was expecting something a bit bigger as the twin room that we had, the length of the beds were against the walls which meant you could only get in from one side. Also the lights over the bed were too high so had to get out of bed to turn the lights off. The continental breakfast was adequate although they could have done with serving fresh bread rolls and croissants, they were stale 2 days running... All in all, for the price we paid for a 4* London hotel it was OK. Customer service was excellent. Good location, not far from 2 tube stations.
One of the worst experiences of my frequent travel life!
From arrival it was clear this hotel didn't come even close to it's LR profile
When the inevitable problem occurred the staff neither knew nor cared how to resolve it
Great location as a base for business for a couple of days.
Comfy room if not huge, but clean. Basic but good breakfast. Good value for money. Would stay again.
Cheap but well-furnished considering with a good bed and good breakfast
Really don't know what folk wants for £80 including breakfast for two.
A short walk from the Royal Parks and a tube station. Sure it had just been decorated and still had a few week old odour of paint, and heating in ceiling didn't work, but plug in radiator was provided in room. But bed was very high quality and comfortable. Breakfast was a rarity in London, someone cooked toast for you, rather than batch cook a load and stick it under a hot lamp, and staff at breakfast were very good and attentive. So if you had a similar experience to us, and moaned you really need to stay at home as travelling isn't for you.
Lovely cosy hotel.
Convenient for a short stay. Access able to all attractions nearby
Bryon Hotel ~ Winter Wonderland Trip
Booked the Bryon Hotel as we were planning on taking a few days in London especially Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
The location (only a 3 min walk from Queensway tube station) and previous reviewers comments helped persuade me in making my choice, and was not left regretting. A warm welcome was received at reception in checking in, this was speedy and hassle free. Room was of good standard and the twin beds were very comfortable. Pleasant surprise as there was an ajourning room available for use and could have accommodated another couple of our friends. Continental breakfast was our choice but a cooked breakfast was available at a reasonable cost. Very helpful and pleasant staff to look after us at breakfast. Plenty of tea or coffee, toast white or Brown and Cereals to choose. Overall impression was a very good one and would be happy to book and stay at the Bryon again
Good for 1/2 nights
The hotel is ideally located for the big attractions.
Staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Wifi didn't reach our room though and next to us was some kind of generator which was loud but not enough to put us off our sleep. Do not have breakfast though!. Unless you like cold toast, croissants, stale cheese and shiny, rubbery mystery meat. Much better to pay some money and eat outside the hotel.
