Lovely property, gardens and room - unfortunately our room - 250 - seemed 'miles' from reception, so the walk, initially with a case, and then back to the dining area etc, seemed to take ages, with corridors and turns, more corridors and more turns - the room was fine once there- just felt a bit distant!

Luxurious
Loved our one night stay over, grand impressive building, customer service was very good as was the food in the bar. Worth noting, although it didn't impact on our stay, there were a number of tradesmen who were obviously either working in the area or attending a conference as there were a number of identically liveried vans there. As I mentioned, we found no adverse effect on our stay, but I wonder if that would be the case had it not been a Sunday night or for longer than 1 night.

Another great stay
Good food, great staff (although our waitress this time was a bit clueless), fantastic room. Stay in the area a lot for business and this is by far the best hotel. Can't beat the value for the Laterooms price.
