The guys at the check in desk were very polite sorted us out straight away.
the hotel could do with a nice refurb in the rooms, it does look a bit old and tacky and in my opinion it was a little too expensive for the room we got.
Bathrooms were vile they were very old fashioned and not clean at all. The rooms were very old fashioned. The beds were rock hard they were two single beds joined together, so uncomfortable. Dressing table chairs were falling apart. As well as this the hotel didn't even have toothpaste.
Good location. Compromised quality
Price was decent and location not bad but the qualitu of the room was not to very high standards
get what you pay for!
Should have realised when booked that a Britannia hotel isn't going to be palatial but would have thought that quality would have been better.
Corridor noise, room too hot. poor quality duvet (polyester) mould in bathroom etc. Next time will be booking hotel across road (know what you get).
Britannia Nottingham City Centre
Enjoyed staying there.
My main criticism, having stayed in many hotels for both business and leisure in the past, is the poor service of the staff.
They gave the distinct impression that they didn't want to be in the hotel which didn't inspire confidence from the first visit to reception to checking out two days later. The bar/lounge was almost empty every night of the stay resulting in a lack of atmosphere.
I can quite honestly say that this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I would recommend that the hotel management invested in staff being given more hospitality training.
Pleasant staff, good location
Looking tired but was clean & spacious
Seen cleaner rooms for a lot less.
u pay lots out for the room then they want £10 for 24 hours with the car in their car park. wot a joke never again.
This was my second visit...the room was smaller than my last one...the room was clean and big enough for me..it had a mini fridge (nothing in it)the room was warm...
bathroom was clean...I had trouble getting to carpark. As sat nav took me up rd was closed entrance to it..you need to drive to hotel entrance to get to car park.
