very good at offer price
Paid £27 a night for room and was perfectly happy at that price.
Great value, simple but all we needed
We have a young family, so 24hr shops, with a great room.
Warwick and Stratford on the doorstep. 24hr reception.
Our room was clean and comfortable and excellent value.
We stayed here 2 nights and were surprised not to hear anything from the motorway.
Nights out days inn
Just came back from staying at the days inn hotel cant fault the staff very friendly and helpful and also little reminders of certain items that you can ask for from reception was a very nice touch.
The only problem we came up against was that there was only 1 socket throughout the whole room so when you wanted a cup of tea you had to turn off the television to have one totally recommend taking a small extention lead or two way plug. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
No WI-FI and NO Drawers!!.......
We went for a 3 day stay as a surprise treat for my hubby who had just sadly lost his mum to cancer.
It was going be a fest of truck spotting the classic truck show at Gaydon and messaging loads of like-minded mates, relaxation and time out. The first thing Days Inn advertise is their Free Wi-Fi. We walked in and they tell us there is a fault, it's not on. And it wasn't on.... for the whole 3 days!!. I also made the mistake of booking a more expensive executive room thinking it would be better...no drawers!!. Don't executives change there pants and socks then??. Apparently no drawers in any rooms according to the cleaner who I asked in dismay. Just an open shelf hanger and two other open shelves. I suppose you have to dig through your suitcase everyday instead, or put yer undies on show for the world and his cleaner!!?. Does anyone that designs hotel rooms actually stay in one. The lack of simple practicalities amaze me. I wouldn't mind it was a lovely big room, it would have fitted drawers and a nice armchair, which I'm sure even the most hardened executive would have appreciated. The staff were lovely, friendly and polite, none of the issues were their fault and the breakfast tokens for Harry Ramsdens next door were great. The truck show was fantastic but my husband would have loved to have been able to share that day with his trucking mates on facebook etc. Wi-Fi unavailable for 3 days was pretty dissapointing.
Bargain price. Basic. Cannot grumble.
I was expecting it to be noisy being on the motorway, but actually it was fine.
Friendly staff. Easy access. Great.
This accommodation was ideal as a place to stay to break our journey. It was warm clean and comfortable and very convenient. Also quiet and peaceful for a motorwày venue.
Simple & perfect!
Thank you Days Inn.
We were looking for low budget accommodation near to Stratford Upon Avon to visit my husband as he has started a new job there. Days Inn was a perfect base for us (myself, my husband and 2 young children) to go visiting and exploring. We hadn't stayed in a motorway hotel before but it was great, simple, clean and spacious. We didn't hear the motorway at all. We hope to be back in the next few weeks as this location is perfect for us to go house hunting from for when we all move up. Many thanks
Days Inn Warwick Northbound - M40
It would have been helpful if at least one member of the reception team knew anything about Warwick, is there easy access to parking etc., we were only 7 miles from the town and no one knew anything about it, even very basic stuff.
We don't expect them to be tour guides, but just to be told 'we don't come from round here' was a bit disappointing. They could brush up on very basic knowledge during the quiet times surely.
Relatively clean but noisy
Relatively clean. Plug hole surrounds build up of lime scale, otherwise fine. Hard to sleep because of noise from motorway and service station. Have stayed in another Days Inn on M6 without same issue, so probably benefit from new double glazing.
