Euston Square Hotel
Beautifully appointed room with comfortable and roomy double bed. Staff. friendly and helpful. obviously there to make the guests welcome. I certainly will be staying there on our next visit to London
The room was small, no mini-bar or toiletries.
The cleaners did the classic slamming of doors which is a disgrace when we a) pay full price to stay here & b) request a later checkout. What about the £25 charge for having a lay-in?. Does this hotel want people back or not?. Cleaners slamming doors at 9am is out of order.
A Quick Stop Over
Excellent location, although a little tired the room was functional.
Walls and floors noticeable thin as I could hear the next door neighbour snoring when I returned to my room at midnight.
Generally good as I returned and I returned for a second short stay in two weeks.
Some single rooms very small but more than adequate for a short stay. A good continental breakfast avaialble and location good for evening meals out.
Small But Clean
An ok hotel for one or two nights, I wouldn't want to stay any longer than that.
Staff were very quiet and relatively slow, but check in was fine. Rooms are small, but are indeed clean so no real problems there. breakfast was poor - no warm option, a couple of options for juice and a selection of breads, didn't enjoy it at all and went out for some proper food instead
Good price for the location - in walking distance from pancras, euston and kings cross stations. Entrance to euston underground is right outside.
I was very impressed with this hotel.
I was needing somewhere convenient to Euston station and the University College Hospital and this hotel is within easy walking distance to both. I was able to leave my luggage securely with them until I was ready to collect it later in the day which was a big help. I would definitely book this hotel again the next time I need to visit the hospital. It was good value for money as I booked it last minute with a discounted rate.
Small room, busy staff
The staff were polite but appeared busy and as if they didn't have time for me.
I had stated I was wheat intolerant; I wasn't expecting my diet to be accommodated for but the reception staff assured me there were definitely wheat free options. Upon reaching the breakfast hall I discovered that wheat free options were just an orange, some yoghurt, and a boiled egg (things that had no wheat to begin with). I'd have preferred the reception staff not get my hopes up in the first place.
My room was clean apart from a hair of suspicious origin in the shower.
Euston Square Hotel
Hotel was fine but breakfast was very poor.
It was NOT maybe the catering needs to be upgraded to
a normal BandB which would be an improvement.
Convenient location - small hot room
Hotel is at Euston Square tube station, and 5 mins walk from Euston Rail Station.
Staff were friendly - seemed understaffed at first breakfast as tables were not being cleared. Room rather small but very clean with good bedding. Faulty valve on radiator so could not turn it off - 29 C with window closed and noisy traffic with window open - even resorted to air conditioning (end of November!) Room lighting excessive - 6 ceiling spot bulbs each 50 - 100 watts I estimate - felt like you were on stage. Great energy / cost savings could be made by checking radiator valves and reducing power of light bulbs. I am not sure if we would stay again!
A basic hotel providing good access to central london.
room and en suite small but ok.
