Excellent hotel for Birmingham Centre including NIA and Symphony Hall etc.
Overpriced for one night
Once entering jury's inn we were created by door staff who were very kind and helpful when reaching reception they told us they couldn't find booking understandable as we had only just booked the room through late rooms, however I had to say so we need to come back in half hour because the staff member was just scrolling and not giving us any information.
More then an hour later we returned to find out the staff member who took all our details down had gone home and not left the details. So to check in it took about 20 minutes of finding emails and forwarding them (not a very practical system) Then due to the inconvenience they upgraded us. However when we got our 'upgraded room' we found nothing really different to the one we had initially paid for. Don't get me wrong the stay was great just long winded systems in place and the staff beated around the bush about information which made myself think they cared to much about customer service regulations then the actual customer.
Very Good Hotel with clean linen and accommodation. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Very Good Hotel with clean linen and accommodation.
Staff is very helpful and friendly. Centrally located for night life as well as shopping malls and concert halls. Only negative is even residents of the hotel have to pay full parking charges. Hotel management should consider giving free or discounted parking for one car per room.
Cold Room - Rude Recepionist
Well located hotel - Parking £15 for 24 hours - shower very weak, room very cold - kind receptionist came to room but couldn't make it warmer - finally they gave us a radiator which hardly gave out any heat - the heating was fixed an hour or two later - Offered us free parking and breakfast which was good - missed breakfast ( just too late ) No bar food available instead .
On checking out we were not asked about our stay - when we mentioned the problem's no apology forthcoming, when we asked if he had heard our comments we finally got a half mumbled sorry. Shame for £90 room only hoped for better.
One Night Stay
We had a one night stay at the Jury's for an event at the NIA.
If you are planning to visit the NIA the Jury's is perfectly situated. The room was spacious and clean and check in was straightforward and friendly. We had a room on the top floor and the view was lovely at night. Broad Street can be noisy so if this bothers you request a room on one of the top few floors (there's 16) especially if you plan on staying on a Friday or Saturday night.
great hotel fantastic location would defanatly recommend .
The floor was noisy with people shouting in corridor so sleep was disturbed
Jury Hotel. Brindley Place
Not enough staff to cope with amount of guests at check in.
Complimentary items not in room on arrival.
No complimentary newspaper received as per booking.
Jurys inn broad street
I travel from London to the Midlands quite often so have tried various hotels but I always find Jurys inn to the the cleanest.
