A Relaxing time
A very pleasant relaxing stay. The facilities were brilliant pool, gym, sauna and steam room, especially the outside hot tub on a cold and frosty evening and morning. The service at breakfast was exceptional and food very tastefully done, nothing was too much trouble.
The only issue I had was when I got home the day we left I had mis- placed my Samsung USB charger, I rang the hotel that eveningI know that i had charged my phone the night we stayed at Thornton Hall and must haveleft it on the desk.. They made a note and the following day i rang but they were unable to locate it. It could not have been left anywhere else so need to take more care of my personal items

we stayed in this hotel just to relax and take time out of our busy lives. The SPA was lovely and we totally enjoyed using the facilities. The room was very average but we didnt spend alot of time in the room so it wasnt too bad. The food was lovely. overall a lovely break and i will definately go back. I paid 100.00 for the room and spa for two people good value!

Food the highlight of the stay....
Excellent customer service before and during the stay.
The hall beautiful oak panelled rooms. Extension very upvc externally but the room was a good standard not tired or shabby as some reviews mentioned.
Nice view over the gardens. Spa wonderful especially outdoor jacuzzi.
Be aware that dinner package allows a voucher for dinner not fully inclusive but wow what a dinner. Outstanding.
Music from the wedding loud until early hours which was a shame, breakfast was exactly as it should be. Hot varied and delicious.
Overall a wonderful stay.

SUPERB CHOICE FOR A STOP OVERNIGHT
Our stay was saturday evening on a dinner bed and breakfast and we stayed in a lovely quiet room with plenty of space for the seating area. We enjoyed the indoor pool, sauna and steam room in the afternoon then we had our meal in the lawns restaurant. The food here is fantastic, good choice, well presented and the staff were very attentive to anything we needed, if you like cheese you are not going to be disappointed with the choice. Breakfast next morning was buffet style with lots of choice. Overall an excellent stay here and we will be back.

Relaxing overnight stay
A lovely, spacious well-appointed room with an immaculate en-suite bathroom. Reception and bar areas were well staffed by friendly, polite staff. Spa facilities were excellent and not too busy. Breakfast was of a high quality and plentiful with plenty of options.
