The hotel is family managed and full of character, offering comfortable accommodation and top of the range facilities.

Average at best...
Whilst there was nothing horrifically bad about the hotel there was also nothing which was particularly great about it either. The room was on the small side, and unfortunately what would have been a good view of the golf course and lake was spoiled by the huge cherry picker that was stationed on our patio.
In terms of sleep, the walls seemed very thin and we were able to hear people talking (shouting?) in the rooms above us as well as doors opening and closing. Annoyingly we also seemed to be near a bank of air conditioners which would turn on from time to time in the night, further disturbing us.
We also found that we'd been left with a half opened pack of biscuits, which doesn't exactly indicate great attention to detail.
On the positive side, the bar at the hotel was excellent, and the bar staff very friendly and polite. The bed was also quite comfortable, and I'm sure I'd have had a good night's sleep if it wasn't for that noise.

Best Western Plus Windmill Village Hotel
Fantastic, friendly, efficient staff. The staff were brillant and looked after our every need. Hotel setting is beautiful we had a lovely room over looking the golf course. Food in bar was delicious and the breakfast in Resturant was brillant. Spa was lovely and I had an amazing mini facial. The only down side was the room, carpets need speam cleaned and were not hoovered very well and there was a lot of dust on the furniture.

We were very pleased with the room. Looking out onto the golf course was lovely and the cleanliness of the room was very good. The only very small observation was that with the tea making facilities there was only one packet of biscuits for two people and we did like a cup of tea and biscuits on arriving back at the hotel (just a minor thing).

Great leisure facilities
The hotel itself is well fitted out and the room whilst small was fine. The gym and pool are the highlights here whilst the food in the bar is the low point, it is just of poor quality. I would stay again but would eat out.
