Perfect stay in Glasgow! - 5 minute drive to City Centre
Hotel situated on a main road, at crossroads, opposite a park - with a large car park to the front of the building and a safe environment to leave your vehicle. It was my first lone trip to Glasgow and wasn't sure of the area but was pleasantly surprised. I booked a single room and was given a family room! - a double bed plus a single, so the room was large - well furnished and very clean. The bathroom was large and very clean also. Crisp white sheets and towels which were lovely & a very comfy bed. I had everything I needed for a great stay. The staff were extremely friendly & chatty and made me feel very welcome. The reception and entrance hall have been refurbed in a modern style and the cocktail bar is a lovely place to eat and enjoy a drink. There is a more formal restaurant with a full menu if required.
I am pleased to have found the Kings Park Hotel and I will definitely use it in future whenever I visit Glasgow.

Very good value
I read previous reviews before booking so had an idea of what to expect. The dowstairs communal areas - Reception, restaurant, cocktail bar have clearly been updated recently. My room was clean and in good decorative order though the pre-decorating preparation left a lot to be desired and the 13 amp double socket below the window was not fixed to the wall.
Staff were friendly and efficient and both the evening meal and breakfast were excellent

hard lines caley
We booked this hotel for 1 night before the cup final.
parts of the hotel have been upgraded but they need to start on the rooms.they really are stuck in a timewarp.
we went downstairs to the public bar. There was a pool competition on. The barmaid was very friendly and was quick to remprimand the guys for swearing!,
They had a buffet organised and we were invited to help ourselves.
Breakfast was lovely although some fresh fruit would have been welcome.
We had stayed in a holiday inn the week before which was much better value for money.
We would come back if we got a better rate

Nice stop off
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room perhaps just a little bit over furnished. Could not get the shower to work in room 116 -but managed a good wash in the bath with nice hot water. We forgot to ask about it when checking out but are sure that it was something trivial that we were not doing because the bathroom was immaculately clean.
