Excellent hotel, horrendous taxi service....
Asked for a taxi to be ordered for 3pm where upon he turned up at 2:40, as we were going to Alton Towers Live concert, needed to book return journey for 10:30 that night, he refused to take our booking. Then proceeded to drop us on the road, near Alton Towers and told us to go down the road, turn left and we should see it. Terrible attitude. Hotel should not use Lucky Seven taxi firm, not good for their hotel. As for the hotel itself, the customer service was really good, the staff there treat you with respect and warmth and are extremely helpful. It's a bit out of the way if you don't drive but excellent if you are going to see a football match at Britania Stadium which is basically next door. There is also a Harvester restaurant just the other side of the hotel car park if you fancy heading out for a meal. If you are going to head to Alton Towers, taxi fare usually is around £20-£22 one way, which is quite reasonable. All in all, a nice place to stay.

The breakfast was nice but it could have had a bit more variety and some bacon.
Excelent hotel and service, was given a disabled room for some reason but was big enough and very clean, would recommend any one to this hotel.

superb stay!
The room was very clean, comfortable and lovely facilities. Air conditioning which was lovely to have. The breakfast was good too, the only thing missing for me was bacon but there is plenty of variety. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Standard you would expect from holiday inn
Quality and standard of what you would expect of a holiday inn. Scrambled eggs on Sunday were very rubbery and croissants were cold otherwise food OK. one and only lift broke down. Even with the very friendly and courteous staff I find I am not a fan of Holiday Inns but that is my preference.
