Two of us and the dog for 3 n ights!
We really enjoyed our stay ath this hotel. The food at the is first class, interesting menu plus choice of truly fresh fish delivered daily. Breakfast was 'spot on'! and served in a pleasant , airy, nicely decorated restaurant . Staff are friendly and very accommodating So, Keep doing what you are doing, guys.
The bed-room was spacious with TV, lots of tea/coffee, an en-suite.& a noisy sliding door! (doors can open outwards!) Rooms are spotlessly clean but the decor is a little tired and needs updating, plus the hairdryer was a 1980's model and attached 5ft up on the wall - really not very convenient!
Lastly I paid £12.50 a night for my dog to stay too but although the staff were dog friendly - not being able to take him into any of the residents rooms isn't! Either reduce the charge or allow dogs into one ot the rooms to compete with other dog friendly hotels. We had to go elsewhere for afternoon tea, after dinner drinks etc (I have paid this price before but have then had blankets, treats and access to residents lounges provided ) Where the access has been similarly restrictive, the charges have been between £5 &£8.
