great weekend break, hotel was clean comfortable and friendly
Enjoyed a two night stay at the hotel, given a room in the new section, modern clean and everything one could ask for. Plenty of staff around with good customer service skills. Entertainment was well organised and enjoyable. Location was great and only one hour from London St Pancreas. Would recomend it to anyone wanting a short break by the coast.

Very clean, helpful staff
Room was very clean and spacious, except from the windows which were fairly dirty, linen and towels clean. Hotel itself very dated although staff very helpful and reception staff smart and professional. Not quite the Grand Entertainment hotel though - entertainment was very very poor, a walk around the town provided more entertainment than the hotel. Food - sausages very basic not meaty, fried egg!!!! more like a microwaved rubber egg. The only let down on this hotel was the food and entertainment and the poor decor.

Was very disappointed asked to upgrade but was fully booked
The rooms are very dated and the bathroom was very old toilet dirty windows dirty , pigeons poo on the carpet . Stained ceiling tiles , dogs was allowed in this hotel which I think is not good the thought of a dog being in the room b 4 is makes me feel disgusting , this should have been said b 4 I booked ,
Put in a smokers room and we don't smoke
But I must say breakfast was the only good thing about this hotel

Overnight stay
Very poor, was advertised as a 155 pound room with a saving of 90 pounds for the night we stayed. The room was very basic with a loose celling panel which rattled all night, the light was broken, a very loud hotel, the food greasy although plenty, the tables dirty, the fire lights broken. All in all more like a room for 30 pounds top. Would not recommend, unless not bothered about the above
