friendly hotel
The hotel is fairly basic, but I was generally well looked after. There were wires hanging down in the en suite that need tidying up.

Room was amazing. The breakfast was a let down. Not worth £6 pounds, no sausage fried bread and the bacon looked like never seen bacon before. Eggs a little rubbery. Overall stay was pleasant and a beautiful hotel. We will definitely return. Without the breakfast....

As a previous reviewer commented, this is obviously work in progress, however the comfort of the bed could not be faulted, however a lighter tog duvet would have been preferred.

A lovely clean room with a good breakfast and lovely and attentive staff quiet and peaceful. V happy
I was so happy after a long coach journey to arrive at this welcoming, nicely decorated B & B. The standard of cleanliness was very high. I've stayed all over the world in hotels and B & B's and this one was very much up there with some good quality places. Martin the manager was extremely helpful, over and beyond the call of duty. I would very much like to recommend this B & B to ladies hoping to go to Cherish next year in the Arena. There are buses into the city centre from just across the road (with one change). I particularly loved the peaceful quiet area where it was situated. Coming in after a long and tiring day it was just nice to relax in my room.

an overnight stay for a funeral
Our room was a work in progress and the hotel had not been opened very long, only a matter of weeks. Despite the wires hanging from a hole in the wall, and other signs of incompletion, we had a comfortable night and the hotel had a really good feel about it.
