Clean,welcoming but noisy location
Usual Travelodge experience; entry not very welcoming but reception staff very charming and helpful. the area is filthy, however, with overflowing bins, unswept streets and dereliction everywhere. But not the fault of Travelodge, of course.

Not a hotel for the summer!!!
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room and bathroom were clean, but there was absolutely no air in the room and air con is not provided! The windows barely open so you can't even get a breeze through the room. We stayed when the weather was about 27c and the room was uncomfortable to sleep in due to the heat. Fans were provided (upon request) but they just blew hot air and you can't even put them by the bed as there were no plug sockets. Also one of the lifts was not working so at one point when we came back from a wedding at 11pm we had to wait over 10 mins for the one working lift to come down to us to take us to our room on the 8th floor. In the end we had to take the stairs otherwise we would be there all night. Room would be okay in winter but never staying there again in the summer.

Late Arrival....
Was due to arrive at approx 8pm but was much later found poor signs for entry and parking but put that down to being dark not knowing set up. Could have been clearer sign to car park lift taking you to 6th floor reception. The reception guy was first class said he could see me wandering around! Poor ventilation in room although hot night and stormy...gave me an electric fan.

Very very budget!
Not enough towels: Mirror in an awkward place & of no use. No plug for bathroom basin. Room light on when we arrived and room smelled of smoke! The window was open so assume someone was in there having a sly cigarette earlier. Arrived late/tired and room was on top floor at the end of corridor, miles from anywhere, otherwise I'd have returned to reception to complain. Very hot room, very noisy fan, = no sleep. Staff welcoming on arrival and apologetic in morning, but we won't be back.

Booking confusion
Fortunately helpful staff on reception to sort out missing booking on their system - & perhaps lucky hotel was not full, as i really didn't need to worry about finding alternative accommodation having driven all day from central France

Noisy Saturday Night
Lots of disturbance on Saturday night. Knocking on our door by people trying to find party next door. The noise makers were later asked to leave.
