Not Classified  Hotel Ratings explained
36 KING EDWARD COURT , WINDSOR, SL4 1TG
Located just 0.1 miles from Windsor museum and a short walk from Windsor Castle, the hotel’s location is absolutely spot-on for getting the most out of this beautiful and historic town. And if you fancy a few thrills during your stay then Thorpe Park is only 9 miles away, offering rides and roller-coasters. Alternatively, if you’re looking for hotels near Legoland, this hotel is an ideal choice, as it's located only 3 miles away from this family-friendly day out.

Located right next to Windsor and Eton Central train station and 9 miles from Heathrow Airport, Windsor Central Hotel is tremendously close to a wide range of local attractions and places of interest. Due to the hotel’s city-centre location, some noise may be heard while staying here, but 2 separate train stations in close proximity with strong links to both Reading and London are just a few of the best reasons to stay here.

This hotel has recently been updated with our fresh new look and features Travelodge's new room design complete with Dreamer Bed so you can be sure of a great night's sleep.

Early/Late Check-In/Out Service – if you’re looking to make the most of your day we can offer an Early Check-In service from 12:00noon and a Late Check-Out Service until 2pm so you have more time to relax - cost is £10 per service, per room, subject to availability - bookable direct by telephoning the hotel.

Worst night's sleep in a long time
Whilst there are certainly benefits - cost (until, as I discovered that the price jumps up 50% in March), suitable equipped, and a good location - I really had one of the worst night's sleep in a long time - shame - as bed is extra comfy.
First, the entire room/bedding smelled of cigarette smoke - even though smoking is not permitted, I can only assume that a previous guest had a craft one or two our of the window. Secondly, the room was incredibly cold - a small dimplex electric heater is far from adequate to warm up the room. Finally, the room was 'road-side'. In spite of the seemingly adequate double glazing, I was woken up several times in the night by heavy vehicles/road sweepers etc trundling by. Due to my job, I need to stay a night a week in Windsor - definitely - in the hope that loyalty would mean anything, I tried to negotiate a rate - company were far from accommodating. As I will be spending over £3,000 a year - I was hoping for some kind of loyalty discount.
Reception staff were very warm and friendly- they have no ability to control or negotiate pricing.

Nice room but very noisey
Our room was good and clean but was woken every 15 to 20 minutes after midnight till 3.30am by loud drunks outside the hotel and would not stay there again .

Convenient location
Great location for central windsor, parking is a few minutes walk away, no problem with an overnight bag, but could be a pain if you have kids and suitcases with you.
It was a little noise at night, but was convenient for a number of bars and restaurants.
Room basic but clean, I didn't try the bar or restaurant as there are plenty of nice places near by.
Great for a weekend away.

Excellent central location
The staff were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful with views over to Eton and the river. It is the most convenient hotel I have ever stayed in with shops and restaurants just a few steps away.

Travelodge Windsor Central
Service at front of hotel fantastic. Room clean and plenty of space. Only thing is that could do with an extra couple of milks for the tea and coffee.
