Being right in the centre, you're only a short walk from the major Brighton attractions. The famous pier is less than a mile away, as is the Brighton Conference Centre. The Lanes can be found just over half a mile from the hotel, offering unique shopping opportunities throughout the day.

Nasty
Very tired property, a bit of a dump in all honesty. Chap on reception was very good and location is great but the hotel is very poor. Parking in NCP behind hotel is about £19 per 24hrs.

You pay for what you get
Good location but rooms were extremely hot and old looking, despite this hotel allegedly having undergone a recent 'modern' refurb. The price was great but only 1 towel was provided and the room smelt funny.

Our room had dirty marks all over the walls and the bathroom was dirty. Just generally needs a deep clean. Its a shame the hotel has no parking as the parking in Brighton is extortionate prices. The hotel do however give you discount off of 24hr parking.
Reception staff were helpful.

Good value for money but little else.
This hotel is about what you should expect for the price. The location is good but the place is in serious need of a refurbishment. Our room was shabby and tired looking and the public areas aren't much better. It all looks and feels a bit like a hostel but I guess you can't ask for much more at the price. And it would be nice to have somewhere to store bags when checking out-dragging them round Brighton for 4 hours before returning to Gatwick was no joke! Next time we'll pay a bit more and find somewhere better.

Lighting was poor not enough or in the right places, shower curtain had what looked like the beginning of mould at the bottom as was too big constantly laying in water. Shower could have been more powerful. And many glass instead of curtain as couldn't move without getting covered and stuck with curtain. Which lead to flooring getting drenched and no bath matts? So having to use towels.
Other than that it's okay. But £69 is a bit pricey for the small sized room and poor bathroom. If cheaper by £10/£15 then yes perfect

The room was ok, but the hotel is incredibly old and dated, the corridors are dark and dirty, and the lifts are so old they have ashtrays still. Really needs to be shut and completely refurbished.
