More than a hostel
The accommodation was good at an excellent price. The room was clean and functional and included a TV. It's quite small for 4 adults, but we were only staying one night so that wasn't a problem. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom facilities good. There is a common room where you can make tea and coffee, or meals. The full English breakfast was excellent (cooked by Bevan). We arrived later than expected, but were able to gain access easily, with a bit of technical help from Bevan, who was really helpful all the time we were there. Very laid back atmosphere.

Classed as a hostel, pleasantly surprised
I booked this place for one night to go and see my son who lives just up the road in tunbridge wells. I was a late arrival due to travelling, but they rang me beforehand and then text me full details on getting the key. I knew it was a "hostel" and was expecting to rough it a bit - for less than £40 for us both to stay I was happy with that.
I was very surprised at the quality of the room and the comfort of the bed, even the shower was amazing.
All in all I was impressed, will definitely use these again and actually look forward to it.
The staff that I met in the morning were courteous and actually really lovely.
Everything about this is great, even down to a 32" tv on the wall - much better than the 19" or 21" you usually get in hotel rooms.

Looked after
It's a shame this place is so far from anything, because it's so clean, well kept and quiet hostel - something a traveller can really appreciate! The kitchen is very nice - all the facilities are. And the bedrooms are kept warm. I checked in very late, and for such a small hostel, they were still able to provide me with a warm welcoming.

clean with friendly service
Stay green is a charity run eco friendly hostel/bunk house. It had only been open a couple of weeks when we went so a little rough around the edges but it was fine for our needs and the friendly guy on duty made up for it. He gave plenty of info on the accommodation and the charity and really seemed to want to make sure our stay was comfortable. A good low budget place to kip.
