One night in Norwich
Nice warm welcome from our hosts and text instructions with directions a nice touch. Quiet surroundings in a very rural location. Lovely comfortable bed made for a great nights sleep. Homemade bread for breakfast a nice touch. Hairdryer in the room would be a welcome addition. Horrendous potholes on drive up to the property a bit off putting if you don't have a 4x4!

Relaxing haven near Norwich and on edge of the Broads
Truly friendly and family atmosphere, welcoming, helpful and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. It was a great location for us, so close to the City Centre (4 1/2 miles) but remotely located in the middle of a huge farm. The accommodation was perfect for us, comfortable bed and well equipped bath room. Breakfast was excellent, well prepared and wide selection, I had the full breakfast on the first morning and it kept me going until dinner in the evening. Wide range of local restaurants and pubs, we ate at an excellent one on the bank of the river Yare. Due to inclement weather we stayed in the B and B on the second evening and spent the evening reading in the lounge. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for our weekend break
We stayed here for a 2 night break and to take in a show at Norwich theatre, We wanted easy access to the centre but without the noise and hassle, we could not have picked better. The setting is beautiful, looking over the fields and walk along the river. The rooms were bright and clean and a lovely lounge to rest in. Andy and Caz are very nice people and very helpful with local knowledge. If we ever need to stop at Norwich again this would be our first choice.

Idilic country setting yet 15 minutes from Norwich
Tried Colt's Lodge as a change from my usual accommodation in Norwich and am glad I did. Due to the location I was worried about my commute into Norwich in the mornings but it was actually quicker than places I have stopped within Norwich due to it's easy access to the A47 bypass. I was made to feel welcome with good food and comfortable accommodation but the best thing was the complete silence at night, I have not slept so soundly in a long time. Basically my stay for business was like a mini-break leaving me feeling refreshed and well rested - thanks!
