Holme Lacy House (Half Board)
Could not fault the accommodation except a view would have been nice and we had to go down a flight of stairs from the lift.
Good quick break
Booked a last minuet deal for sataday a Beatles tribute band had a great time as always
Brilliant weekend break
Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Holme Lacy.
clientele a little older than us but no less fun. We chose to go out and about every day, loads to do in this area if you like walking, kayaking or cycling none the less if you chose to stay in there was also plenty going on. Tip book all your activities early as they book up quickly and as soon as you arrive go down and book your table for dinner as this becomes your table for the. Whole duration of your stAy. Prices in the bar all reasonable similar to pub prices, order your wine daily as there is a better choice than those offered as a bulk order at the start of your break
We have stayed at Warner hotels previously and this doesn't really match up.
Room was cold, no hair dryer so we had to ask for one.
Patio doors in room were single glazed and were right next to pavilion entertainment centre which had doors wide open till we complained about noise. Entertainment was repetitive and other guests were complaining of only going one night as the next was the same. No dancers. No room info about contact numbers for reception, spa, check out times, local things to do.. Quote we heard 3 times from other guests was.. It's no Thorsby Hall. And I couldn't agree more.
Disabled room needed as mother in wheelchair.
Rom standard with no view as on ground floor. Long way to restaurant.. lovely grounds
was surprised how much this hotel cost for overnight accommodation - room very average - room was chilly - shower was rubbish - restaurant was like a school dining room and food very average
