was woken up at 7 in morning by builders on the site.
was suppose to be a relaxed time away and wasn't that as was up early from banging. Also arriving there was no desk to collect keys or sign us in and no told us we had to call for codes. and room heaters stopped working. no information on what we had to do and couldnt get through on contact numbers on site. nor was the postcodes correct on the sites.
L3 Living @ Irwell Chambers
More or less impossible to get hold of customer service amount of times had rang and got no answer when trying to find apartment.Apartment it's self was nice only reason I wouldn't stay here again is location wise not the best location but very nice otherwise.
Just what it says on the web site
Really enjoyed our stay.
Apartment was lovely, clean and modern all as described. Central to all the main places. Really good value for money. We have friends in Liverpool, so will definitely be staying again. Read reviews on getting into the house, so as we were aware of the problems this has caused some guests, we were prepared to speak to someone first. Got lost on the way to the hotel, but the staff were very helpful in giving directions. Definitely staying again.
This apartment sells itself well in pictures on the website but is in actual fact quite basic.
Having said that it was nice and clean and served its purpose for us as a base for a night out in Liverpool. Getting in was not a simple task as it is not specified in the confirmation which one of the many doors we were supposed to use to get into the huge building. There was no 'check in' system, we just got told the code to enter the building after ringing the contact number, and we were given a room number and directions on how to find it. The door to our appartment was unlocked and key on the coffee table. This could have raised a security issue, especially if the entry code is not changed on a regular basis. The apartment facilities were good and like new - especially in the kitchen.
(There were some issues with the drains in the bathroom).
Very convenient and reasonably priced multi storey car park over the road.
Better joining instructions would be good.
Having to ring to get the phone code (especially as my phone had died) turned out to be a pain
Couldn't get in
On arrival we in couldn't get in to the accommodation.
It took 2 phone calls to get access. All it would take would be to have a call bell on the entrance door or an explanation on the booking form. Bed was uncomfortable & only 2 very flat pillows.
Best hotel ever
Full luxury, felt like home and the location is right on point
This must be the best value for money in Liverpool.
We stayed for two nights at a cost of only £60 for the whole apartment, which was clean, modern and comfortable and very close to the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. On our arrival there were no signs at the exterior to indicate that it was a hotel so we were confused about which entrance to use; we phoned the number given on our booking documents and someone came immediately to let us in and show us round. Maybe a small sign on the door to show that it was L3 Living wouldn't go amiss. The windows in the apartments are not double glazed so we didn't sleep very well the first night because of the constant squawking of seagulls outside but this is only a minor negative. We would definitely stay here again.
