The room was a good size and very clean.
If I am honest, the Breakfast was a bit of a let-down, it would have been nicer had it been freshly cooked. It was a weekday morning and quite quiet ,we were the only couple there at 9am ,by then the bacon was hard and unappealing and on a cold plate didn't help. Staff were v nice, & most helpful

Will Stay Again
Stayed one night while on business and was delighted. From the moment I approached the reception desk I felt welcome and valued as a customer. My room was on the ground floor, large, well set out, spotlessly clean and quiet with everything I needed for a restful nights sleep before a busy day.
I used the bar and ate in the hotel and found every staff member I encountered to be warm, friendly and helpful. I was given a choice of eating in the lounge, the bar or outside on the terrace. I chose to eat on the terrace in the evening sun and found the service to be every bit as efficient as I am sure it was inside. Everything I had was well prepared and presented and breakfast was to an equal standard.
All in all, a very restful evening after a long drive down and I will certainly use this hotel for my future trips to the area.

Weekend stay
Hotel was perfectly adequate. It was all we needed, a clean room and a breakfast. The food was a bit pricy and the service rather slow. The hotel is being renovated and it is clear that it needs it in places. The rooms which have been redone are smart, but the leisure centre was closed while we were there - which we weren't warned about.

Beautiful room and great staff
Stayed for one night during the refurbishment. Had a beautiful room and it was so immaculate I felt like the first person to stay in it. Not many guests in the hotel so had a very quiet night which was much needed. The staff were excellent and very obliging.

Bank House Hotel
Nice clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Being refurbished but it did not affect our stay and will be nice when it is finished. Would stay there again.
