Reviews - Newsham Grange Farm Bed and Breakfast

4AA Assessed Bed and Breakfast Ratings explained
Newsham Grange Farm Bed & Breakfast, Newsham, Near Kirby Wiske, Thirsk, YO7 4DF
Newsham Grange Farm is a family run Bed and Breakfast on the outskirts of the Ancient market town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire lying below the Hambleton hills. The farm house is set in 16 acres of land with an orchard dating back to Georgian times. The decked terrace, adjacent the spa and swimming pool, overlooking the orchard is a particularly pleasant place to sit and watch the sun go down on a glorious summer evening. We are A Grade II listed Georgian Farm House offering spacious facilities with en-suite rooms, including one with a Jacuzzi bath. Both rooms can easily accommodate an extra single bed should a family or twin room be required. Thirsk market town is approximately 4 miles away with Northallerton market town been only 6 miles. Both have many shops, cafes, bars, restaurants as well as Thirsk having its own race course and the Famous World of James Herriot, which are well worth a visit. Both Thirsk and Northallerton railway stations are only a few minutes away by taxi. We also offer a free collection and drop of service by prior arrangement for arrivals and departures. Newsham Grange Farm is well placed for you to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors as well as Ripon, York, Harrogate and the lovely East coast with the resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hoods Bay to name but a few. As both Thirsk and Northallerton are market towns why not arrange your stay and take advantage of the local produce on offer.

A Comfy Stop
We found this an excelent place to stay. And also very friendly. Including the dog. A selection of breakfast menus were available that could be pre booked. We just enjoyed our cereal, toast, and homemade marmalade. We would recomend this place. And might visit there again ourselves

5 star accommodation
The room was the standard of a top class hotel; white fluffy towels, bath robes, huge bed, television, settee, hot drinks tray, etc, etc,
Excellent, I must remember to keep the contact details.

Excellent stay for all the family
Great small b&b. Welcoming hosts. My young girls loved Axel, although if you don't like cute friendly dogs they will keep him away.
The standard of accommodation was exceptional and a lot more than we were expecting.
Hot tub and pool outside was a bonus. Too cold outside to swim but loved using the tub!
Lovely big breakfast and would recommend The Kings Arms, 2 mins drive away for an evening meal. It was like having a personal chef making nearly whatever you want.

Best B&B ever
Best B&B we have stayed at. Sue is the perfect host, the room was faultless and Breakfast well sublime. I would recommend Sue's smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs.
Sue greeted us on arrival and introduced us to Axel, the family dog, such a lovely friendly dog.
The room was excellent, plenty of room with en suite bathroom, you even have the use of a fridge and the hot tub if you ask. Sue even gave us a lift to the Station for our day in York.
Do not hesitate to stay you could not do better, we will be staying again when we are in the region.
