Stafford Stay

Leonards Croft is a large detached house set back from Lichfield Road convenient for town and road connections.

Room (family room as only one left) was clean and comfortable,wc and shower en suite. My room was up 3 flights of stairs, perhaps a problem for some. Plenty of parking to front. Good cooked breakfast. Owners helpfully arranged for me to collect my specs which i left behind . Good pub food and real ale available at nearby local pub (200 yards). Quiet location.

very poor

The room I stayed in was cold full of damp, no heating, the shower did not work, the window blind fell down in the night which woke me, tv would not work, I was eventually moved to another room, which was better, but overall it was not worth 50 pound a night, I would not use again.

I am sorry our guest was not happy with his stay. We suddenly filled up before I had time to adjust our availability on Late rooms site and therefore accommodated him in a studio room in our annex which is not normally used for hotel guests. This room is not damp, the shower did work- he just set it to cold. The TV worked but he expected it to have a DVD player and we changed this as soon as requested. We changed his room on the second night to one in the main hotel. He made no comment as to his dissatisfaction giving us no opportunity to address any complaints. I would offer him compensation except for the fact that he left stains from a take away curry on our bedding. We have many repeat bookings from valued customers who find us good value for money.
