Secluded and very homely, warm and welcoming.

A lovely large family room with comfortable beds and an exceptionally tasty breakfast with quality produce.

Quiet location and made to feel at home by the owner even though we were later arriving than expected. Couldn't have asked for more really.

Lovely cream teas when we arrived.

Rosemary was friendly and made us feel comfortable during our short stay. Room was fine with ex suite shower.

Didn't mind that we didn't turn up until after 10 (having come from London).

Friendly, even let us send a cheque when we realised we hadn't paid for the B and B when we booked it. Happy to it's me my phone charger when I'd realised I'd left it

Only suggestion would be that it be cleaer at the time of booking that acclimation will be paid at the time if staying, not booking.

We were made very welcome especially by Milly the dog.

The breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely conservatory. Locating the BandB was a bit of a challenge based on their directions, but it's in a beautiful spot and well worth a visit.

Fantastic find

We were given a warm welcome by Rosemary with tea and cakes on arrival .

The house was lovely and clean and had the perfect home from home feel. Rosemary booked us into the Ashwater Inn for dinner which was good although very large portions when we arrived back early evening we sat in the lounge and watched TV whislt letting our dinner go down . We had the twin and family rooms for our one night stay. I have not slept in such darkness for a long time it was wonderful no light pollution and the delightful sound of the sheep and lambs was lovely. The views form both rooms were beautiful rolling hills and livestock . Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. We had an extra special treat in that we helped feed the baby lambs a great experience . Rosemary and Graham were the perfect hosts . We were just sorry we could not stay longer

Great Farmhouse B & B

Lovely stay in a beautiful rural location.

Woke up to the sound of lambs - an added bonus. Would have loved to have stayed longer but this was an overnighter for business. Will definitely be back.
