Helpful and very friendly staff , can be noisy at times during the night with night shift workers coming in apart from that enjoyed my stay and will definitely be staying again..
wont be going again
Had to walk in to bar and get the barmaid to open room not something I like doing on m own, Shower very poor water flow, two plug sockets damaged,,one hanging off the wall the other was smashed up, got wake end up at 5;30am with the night porter setting up a table outside my room for people to make tea or coffee for there breakfast.
Small room across from mine where you could have breakfast lucky if you could fit four people in it. I wont be staying here again
D Luxe Hotel
Clean and tidy although the lock on the door was broken and the rooms were noisy.
Good for a last minute booking but no double bed
great friendly place
Basic hotel and quite noisy at times due to the nightclub/pub.
Rooms were clean but basic and dated. Lovely receptionist Amanda, couldn't do enough for us and so friendly, made our stay very pleasant!!.
but....the dining area for breakfast was an eye opener.
It was tiny. It seats 4 people at a push.
My stay at the Deluxe Hotel
The Hotel is really a pub with rooms in a separate building which is not sound-proofed.
This was annoying and caused lack of sleep as I could hear the guests in the floor above walking around and their doors opening and closing. The room was adequate for the one night on which we stayed but in terms of value for money it was very poor. The cost for a one night stay was £117.00 for two. I had paid for breakfast to be included and was told when we checked in that only continental breakfast was included, I complained and was advised that a mistake had been made and therefore I received the cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly enough but the ambience was not at all good and very rowdy from the pub adjacent.
