Beautiful B&B in a beautiful setting

This B&B was real value for money.

The room was of a comfortable size however, there was some issues with using wifi within the room. Nevertheless, wifi was available within the pub itself. Dinner was of a high quality and beautiful presented. I was treated with courtesy and a highly professional manner. It was a real shame that the chef didn't turn up for work in the morning which created a delay in getting any breakfast in the morning. The B&B management done their very best to resolve this and arrived to the pub to make breakfast for their waiting guest. Despite this incident happening, I have no doubt that I will stay at this establishment again.

Fantastic stay, a real hidden gem!

We stayed just for one night and wished we could have stayed longer.

We were made very welcome on arrival, had a really lovely room in a Room 2, fabulously comfy bed, hospitality tray including bottled water, very fresh and modern bathroom and our breakfast was beautiful. We would recommend the Lamb Inn without any hesitation.

So relaxing and comfortable did not want to leave

We arrived to this little gem of a place late Saturday afternoon, it was busy with locals, children and dogs which to us makes a place, so instantly we felt very relaxed.

After having a very nice pint of Ale we were shown to our room by a lovely young man who made us feel nothing was too much trouble. Later on we went back down for dinner, one of the most excellent meals we have had in a long time, Crab Lasagne to start for me and my partner had the quail and the a good old fashioned steak cook to perfection, after which we decided that it would be a good idea to rest after eating the meal as it was proving a mission to sit up... The room was lovely, uncluttered with a very nice interior. the bed was extremley comfortable and we had no problems sleeping at all, we was a little concerned about noise considering we were in a pub but nope no problem at all and we were above the main bar!!. Breakfast was top draw, a very relaxing homely yet luxurious place to stay....they have those awards for a reason. Would defo recomend (and i have) and would certainlt stay again.

Very enjoyable stay in this lovely cosy, friendly and well appointed accommodation.

We had a very welcome room upgrade and will stay again when in the area.

Friendly welcome on the first night.

Room comfy enough but like so many hotel/B&B rooms, the level of lighting was very poor and there was nowhere to sit and use a laptop. The room was also very hot and, with underfloor heating, there seemed to be no way to turn down the temperature. The room was also directly over the bar area and was very noisy. The food in the evening was good.
