Perfect stopover for Scotland and Lake District.
Lovely B&B, pretty, quiet location, great to get away from it all. Nice villages nearby for pub food if needed. Great location for Lake District, Cumbria and Scottish border towns. We stayed for two nights on route to West Scotland to break the journey and was an excellent spot. Anita and family were very welcoming with tea and cake on arrival, had lots of recommendations for where to eat and visit during our stay. Room very clean and beds very comfortable, a great cooked breakfast each morning. Nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend.

This is a lovely B&B, with a warm welcome, clean, comfortable rooms and set in a beautiful Scottish borders location. My two children and I stayed in the family room (one double and a single), which was a great sized room, with it's own en-suite bathoom. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept really well. A delicious cooked breakfast was also offered first thing in the morning. We found the B&B easily enough, off the A7 after the Canonbie turning when travelling Eastwards, despite hearing that other visitors had not found it so easily. Overall I highly recommend this B&B and would stay again if in the area.

Typical B&b, clean room and ensuite, lovely Scottish breakfast, friendly owners
Difficult to find without even though had detailed directions from google and from friends in local town! A visible signpost would have helped as a nearby cottage-owner must be fed-up with people knocking his door because it looked as if we had found the right place. Room was sufficient to needs in locally high season, owners busy with local events and had local help who came in and made excellent Scottish breakfast and was professional as well courteous. Would be fine for stop-over but too remote for our needs

A warm welcome off the busy road
Anita's tranquil farm sits above a wooded valley only a few minutes from the A7.
The house and room felt fresh and welcoming. -It had only recently been converted to a b&b. Thus it was newly furnished and decorated.
Anita greeted us warmly and brought us tea and delicious cake. The stage was set for a happy stay.
