By far the best B&B in Woking

I stayed at Fordwater for 3 months and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Sarah really has got it just right here, the rooms are spotlessly clean and are fantastically furnished and equipped. Everything works and the bathrooms are spectacular in each room, I know this because I stayed in each one throughout my stay. I wanted to take the shower home with me, it was by far the best I have experienced anywhere including in the very best of hotels. The location is also very special and although it is a 30 minute walk to the centre of Woking, (an extremely pleasant way to start the day), the fact that you are residing in such a beautiful little sanctuary more than makes up for it. Lastly Sarah is the kindest most helpful host you could ever wish for, withour being in any way overbearing. The breakfasts are fantastic and if you can persuade her to cook dinner for you too then you are in for a treat. I've tried several other B&B's in Woking and this really knocks spots off the rest. Thank you so much for making my stay so enjoyable.

Hard to fault

I stayed for one night only, arriving lateish and leaving early.

I wish I had had a longer stay, as it was difficult to fault, starting with the warm welcome from Sarah, which had itself been preceded by a helpful emailed set of directions. My room was immaculate, my bed (crisp white linen) most comfortable, my bathroom, with a wonderful shower and a view over garden and woodland, spotless. What more could one ask. I had moved house six days previously and it was a welcome (if brief) return to peaceful civilisation from Box City. My one regret is that I left before breakfast (included in the early-start function to which I was heading) as I'm sure I would have been well-fed as well as well rested. I would certainly recommend and would be delighted to return if I am ever in the Woking area.

Great B&B

Lovely, clean and modern B&B by Woking Golf Club.

Walks into St John's and Woking centre by canal tow path. Very welcoming.
