Unfortunately, there was a problem with our booking.
I had booked two rooms on late rooms and our friend had booked by telephone. The telephone booking had not been registered, leaving us one room short. The gentleman in charge was very nice and accommodating and he apologised by giving us free drinks and it was arranged for a rock and roll bed to be put in one of the rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and the views were fantastic. Unfortunately, the standard wasn't 100%. The tea and coffee supplies were minimal, and no toilet roll. There was mildew all around the bathroom window. We went on a local ghost hunt and didn't arrive back to the hotel until 4am and were very disappointed to discover that checkout was at 10am. Standard time is normally 12. We were in room 1 and the residents in the room above woke us up at 6.30. Every single sound they made could be heard through the floor. There is clearly no sound proofing between the flooring. The heating also came on in the early hours and was turned up way too high. Sad to say that this was the worst nights sleep I have ever had. We decided not to stay for breakfast as the general cleanliness of the bar area was poor.
Golf break or country break
Burlish Rooms were small but ideal for what we needed, which was somewhere local to Bewdley and Stourport.
Service was good and helpful. Would stay again if needed.
Clean room , very good shower small.
If you like golf fantastic. Nothing near here at all not even a shop. If you go down the road 2mile bewdley sit at the side of the river have a pint and fish and chips fantastic place. Lots of fantastic walks. Quite enjoy yourself. I stayed in the bottom room , whoever was above me did not sit down all night creaking floorboards . Nearly went upstairs and asked them just to sit down for 5mins . The room is small don't know what they could of been doing !
The staff were friendly on arrival, but this type of room only arrangement does not personally appeal.
You have to go out for dinner and in the morning find café for breakfast, though in fairness there is a list of suitable places left in the room. This accommodation is ideal for someone who wants to get out of bed and get on the golf course.
fabulous place nice peaceful place staff nice helpful lovely room we really enjoyed our stay fo
for low price 47.50 excellent would love to go again
Ideal for golfers
We were looking for somewhere to sleep near our home in Kidderminster prior to leaving the UK for several months to stay at our holiday home abroad.
This would enable us to launder the bedding, towels etc before we left.
I checked in during the afternoon as their website said that they preferred guests to check in before 6pm. There was no signage to tell me where to park or where to go, there isn't an actual reception desk, check in is at the bar. Check-in was simple, I was made to feel welcome, shown our room and given our key. When I returned with my husband at 9pm the place was deserted, the main clubhouse bar etc were closed, the only reassurance that we were not alone was the sound of a tv from another room. The occupants of the room above ours arrived quite late and we feel there is either very little or no insulation between the rooms as we could here every movement from above. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water for showers. We heard everyone who left earlier than us going out, we left at 7.30am, again very little insulation.
We would stay there again as it was very convenient for our purpose. This accommodation would be idea for golfers who want to be on the green early but, were prepared to go out to eat and drink elsewhere
Very comfortable bedding, nice breakfast.
Ok for short stay. Found it hard to find but when we did worth the reasonable price.
Great value stay!
My wife and I stayed at the Burlish Park Golf Club for one night while visiting relatives in the area, and I imagine that for anyone who enjoys playing golf that this would make an ideal location.
We were warmly welcomed and we felt that all the staff were genuine and hospitable. The room was plain, simple and comfortable and outstandingly good value. Incidentally, do NOT use satellite tracking to attempt to find the postcode location, as it took us to entirely the wrong place (though perhaps our Tom-Tom was not sufficiently updated). Seek directions and use a map. Adjacent Burlish Camp is a splendid woodland area that offers fine walks and views and a fascinating history: http://burlishcamp.co.uk/
We had no complaints with any of the services staff were very helpful nothing we required was to much trouble and we were dealt with in a very pleasant manner.
Accommodation was comfortable and clean with a reasonable décor. We stayed and took advantage of the breakfast that was available, which was well presented and of a high quality and was very well priced this made an enjoyable start to the day.
accomodation with views across the golf course.
Felt very peaceful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices was good and served with a smile. Would go back.
