Dingy & Cold.
Poorly lit (dingy) and cold.
Heating not working, had to borrow a heater. Summer weight duvet. No heating in this wing, still being refurbished, full price though. TV on a Freeview box which was hard to get going (loose connections).
took a long time to check in, so receptionist and a lot of people waiting with parking tickets.
Smokers standing right out side the entrance and had to walk through all the smoke. (people just dinning)
Pleasant town centre stay
I was tired when I arrived and dozed off on my bed, waking in time to get an excellent bar meal.
Slept well and had the add-on buffet breakfast. Not as good as the bar meal but decent enough.
good value hotel
Great hotel clean room and a comfy bed
Staff very friendly and helpful the the was was very clean and warm
We where given the choice off ground or first floor and whether we wanted to overlook the car park or bowling green would definitely recommend
Good food and customer service but room was not the most comfortable
Staff were helpful and polite and the breakfast we had was very nice with lots of variety.
The room was a bit dated with an old tv and a very hard bed and pillow so unfortunately we did not sleep very well. Location was excellent, right near shops and restaurants.
check in was efficient but not friendly, room was comfortable but not anything special, did for the night but wouldn't have paid any more for it.
Restaurant was standard but rather dated and nothing particularly impressive at breakfast time

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The room was clean. However it was far too hot, even when we opened the window. Of course opening the window then made it noisier. Other than that the stay was enjoyable.
Ramada Solihull Birmingham
What a little gem the Ramada is.
A wonderful hotel with excellent accommodation. The room I stayed in was fantastic. Great double bed which was very comfortable, wonderful hot shower, large table for working at and a leather reclining chair to chill out in, to watch the TV. I had a mini-fridge in the room, but it was empty, so not sure why it was there. My only gripe and this is very minor, but have found this at every hotel I stay in, is that they never put enough tea/coffee and milk. Not a problem though as a quick trip to the reception desk and I had enough to last me 2 or 3 days. The menu looked appealing, if a little pricy, but hey for this line of hotel you expect to pay the prices. Overall a great place to stay.
Shame about the raucous wedding and disco that could be heard in the room spoiling a good nights sleep.
Cooked breakfast was only luke warm albeit tasted nice.
