4Self Classified Farmhouse Ratings explained
Blackgreaves Farm, Blackgreaves Lane , Sutton Coldfield, B76 ODA
We are a luxury 3 storey farmhouse, 2 minutes from Junction 9 of the M42, close to the NEC/LG arena and Birmingham International Airport (15 minutes). Good commuter links into Birmingham and London. Very central location close to many towns, although set in picturesque countryside. Why not use us for a weekend get together with friends? Our rooms have very recently been finished (Dec 2012) to the highest standards, using original features, fabrics and decor, and we would invite guests to be one of the first to stay with us.
One of superior rooms can be extended onto to make a fabulous family room.
Due to our unique position, we have numerous amenities and attractions close to us. Within walking distance we have a licensed restaurant, parking for many vehicles and tourers, clay pigeon shooting and three fishing pools, together with a multitude of outdoor pursuits and country walks.
We have further accommodation available for up to 150 people and have the local hotel's 9 hole golf course wrapped around us and we are privileged to offer their leisure, spa and restaurant facilities at discounted rates to our guests.
We are not just your average B&B due to our unique position, we can tailor your stay to your individual needs. Why not come and stay?

My fiancée and I stayed at Blackgreaves Farmhouse in early February. We were seeking some peace and quiet and a few good nights sleep (having left our two year old with his grandparents). This is just what Blackgreaves delivered. The bedroom was huge, yet still cosy and warm. It, like the rest of the house, had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely large bath. We had the whole farmhouse to ourselves. The owners were friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again.

Stylish Period House In Peaceful Location
Lovely converted house, only 10/12 minutes from the NEC. A comfy bed & a well equipped shower room was welcome after a long day at work. If you've forgotten your toothbrush or shower gel, this is not an issue, as little travel bottles/tubes are provided. Debbie the host, was both friendly & informative. My only comment would be in reference to the breakfast on offer & the cost. For someone like myself, who doesn't eat a big fry up, the cost of £15.00 for eggs, toast, juice, tea/coffee is a little steep. Maybe provide two options? A great Indian restaurant is situated a stone's throw away too, which was convenient - you can walk there if you want a couple of beers!

Very comfortable, welcoming and convenient to NEC
The guest house was fantastic. Lovely bedrooms with large beds, wet room bathroom and a fantastic Indian restaurant only a walk away across the field! Stayed 2 nights with work and was surprised how close it was to the NEC (15 min drive) but also how quiet it was... Next to no traffic noise! Didn't have breakfast as I thought £15 additional cost for breakfast was expensive, but otherwise great.
