100% would recommend it to a friend
A relaxing break
We were greeted warmly on our arrival by the owners daughter who explained her mum was away and she was looking after things.
We were shown to our room the Beaumont, lovely old fashioned quaint room with a separate bathroom that was very 1930 it was beautiful. A huge bath and shower and plenty of room. Large fluffy towels and bathrobes. The bed was very comfortable and the room lovely and warm. We had the choice of what we wanted for breakfast and with cereals toast and coffee this really set us up for the day. A lounge was available with an honesty bar, CDs and plenty of books. Overall excellent
It was a lovely place to stay I would highly recommend this place to anyone, we really enjoyed service and food was great aswell.
High Quality B&B just off the beaten track
Very impressed with this B&B.
Sarah and her husband are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Sarah ran outside with an umbrella to stop me getting soaked when I arrived in a biblical downpour !. Room was spacious and comfortable, with tea/coffee, tv, great shower, and free wi-fi. Breakfast was excellent and pretty much all-you-can-eat-and-drink. Lounge available with honesty bar to relax in and somewhere to eat you evening meal if you get a take-awya like I did. Overall a super place and a super host. Highly recommended.
1 night's stay at The Grange
We were sorry we couldn't have stayed another night as the room was lovely and we had another room to go in and read which seemed cosy.
We were over for a Birthday Party and so were out in the evening and then had to leave next morning for an appointment.
This was really good value for money, the open house policy works exceptionally well.
I would recommend this to colleagues and family. Charming property with superb hosts. 10/10
Great value for money and home away from home experience (Very delightful host)
Very helpful and very welcoming lady, She can't do enough to make your stay very accommodating.
Being HOME AWAY FROM HOME.
Did exactly what I needed and had free wi-fi
Fantastic Guest House
We stayed in August for one night, on our way to Doncaster to see the Vulcan.
Got a bit lost finding the place, and phoned them. They could not have been more helpful, in fact waited on the main road to make sure we knew where to go. Also drew a map to a local recommended pub later. Lovely couple, fabulous breakfast, and my mum even bought some homemade marmalade. Would highly recommend.
I was made to feel very welcome and the accommodation had everything that I needed-even a dressing gown as I'd forgotten mine.
The room and bathroom were spotless and there were lots of nice touches-like water by the bed. Also there was an honesty bar in the main lounge. The breakfast was really nice and freshly prepared with lots of choice.
Fabulous place to stay
We were a group of 6 attending a party in Yorkshire.
The Grange is a beautiful family home and Stuart and Sarah, as well as their dog Bridget are fabulous hosts. Bedrooms and bathrooms spotless, a lovely lounge to relax in with a drink, all three bedrooms were spacious and nicely furnished. Could do with a little more lighting perhaps tho the bathroom was well lit.
Everyone agreed the breakfast was first class with home made jams and preserves, locally sourced bacon and sausage. Would definitely come back, if only to see the garden in full bloom.
