Not the usual Devere experience but good for price
Stayed here to break the journey up on the way to visit friends up north.
Visits to other De Vere hotels meant I had high hopes and expectations. The location of this hotel is unusual for a de vere. Actually on a uni campus rather than the usual stately home type locations. That aside we had a lovely stay. The bed was massive and very comfortable the hotel itself is very clean and modern and the staff on the front desk and in the restaurant were very accommodating.
All in all a nice stay and well worth the deal price.
Very good hotel to match an interesting city.
This is a modern hotel in an attractive location within the Nottingham University campus.
It is out of town with good parking, but there is a very good bus service into the city centre from Derby Road, a relatively short walk away. We found it to be a very convenient place to use as a base for visiting Nottingham and probably much less noisy than a central hotel. Despite its location, it did not feel to be an exclusively academic or stuffy atmosphere. Only gripe is that, if on foot, there is no dedicated pedestrian pathway between the hotel and nearby by Beeston Lane.
Two night stay
Would come back again
Ovenight stay in Nottingham
Great hotel in a quiet location.
Such a tremendous hotel
My initial requirement for finding a hotel was simply to find something that was outside the city centre, and so I stumbled upon this gem.
Spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities, fine quality food and the best shower and nights sleep I have had in a long time. Amble parking, helpful staff and very conveniently located.
Clean and very comfortable, had a problem with the sink which was sorted out immediately with no fuss.
Could not have asked for anymore.
Matt on the desk made out stay perfect
Impressed with everything about this hotel.
Welcoming from arrival
An excellent welcome at reception after a very long drive.
Very good quality room and bed. Food in the restaurant was also surprisingly good, as was the service. Air con needs to be set to auto cool if you want it below 20 degrees, just having it on cool does not work even if you have it set to 16.
Hotel was very stylish with excellent breakfast.Tried the Brasserie one evening which was good but drinks in the bar a bit pricey like most of these chains nowadays.Obviously a great location if you have something on based at the University campus
