Stains, hair and bad beds!
We stayed here as an anniversary break and were disgusted with what we got, it ruined a part of the holiday.
First there were two sofa beds that when opened you couldn't move around in the room, you had to stand on them to get over them. We then noticed dried food on the sofas and pillows that went with them. There were hairs all over the backs of the sofas so they look like they hadnt been cleaned in a long time. Our sheets had a big brown stain them so I had to get them replaced. The beds were so painful to sleep on they had to bring us a mattress to put over the top of our sofa bed so we could some sleep. I'm still having back ache now and we've been back two days. The swimming pool was closed and the walls where so thin you could hear everything that the next rooms guests where doing and saying?. The shower was so under powered that you took 30mins just to have the smallest shower as it was like sitting under a slow running tap. So saddened by our experience.
short break, couple and small dog
Short stay of 2 nights in Daisy, bedsitting room with kitchenette, small shower, toilet and wash hand basin located off room.
Good location for Hele, Combe Martin, and Ilfracombe. Holiday park located directly opposite to Watermouth Castle, so could be good for checking out for families. Small private cove on the holiday park. Small harbour within walking distance from holiday park, leading to footpath which provided some great views. The holiday park has a range of facilities for campers, caravans, and chalets, some with separate bedrooms. The park was very quiet and most things shut, although there were still a few holiday makers there. However it was a good base, and Daisy was basic but clean. Parts of the site were requiring repair, timber porch and windows to the chalet were in poor condition, and hard to open/shut.
