not first choice

Nice to have a fridge in the room.

Not nice the toilet seat was cracked through. floorboards not sealed securely, so noisy and visible

Electric sockets not easily assessable. Absolutely nothing complimentary!

would definitely not return

Hotel located in a poor area in London, hasn't been renovated in a long, long time.

The only good thing about the room were the two double beds which were quite comfy, but everything else was much below our expectations - dirty carpet, red stains on the walls, on the shower curtain etc... We couldn't wait for the morning to come and get out of there asap. .

Not a good experience.

The room was small and rather dirty.

There were a lot of cigarette burns everywhere even though it said no smoking on the door. There was chewing gum spat on top of the window sill and thick dust on top of a wobbly wardrobe that felt like it was about to fall apart, at least the bedding was clean but the mattress was really lumpy making it hard to sleep. The room felt like the heating was on full yet the radiator was turned off, therfore we had to leave the window open and listen to the noisy tennants shouting down their phone until 3am. (The window opened only to view a wall 3 feet away) Other tennants seemed to run their shower for hours and thin walls made it sound as if I was trying to sleep under a waterfall. The smoke detector was hanging off the ceiling and the curtain was strung up with washing line nailed into the window. I cant comment on the food as I didnt eat breakfast there. The only positive things to say is that staff were friendly, the parking was unexpectadly free and we were allowed to leave the car longer on the day we checked out.

I thought this hotel was a bit expensive considering that there was no internet connection provided and that the room was very basic.

However staff was very nice.

Basic but clean and comfy

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was basic and a little shabby but it was clean. The bath was deep and very comfortable. Tea making facilities were provided and there is also a kitchen for guests to use if they wish. The bed was clean and comfy and I slept well. There was a good tv with remote control, adequate wardrobe space and a bedside table. I get very warm and was glad of the electric fan provided. As I was going out early I did not have breakfast because this is not served until 8.30. . The only fault I could see was that there was no bedside light.

What you pay for

A very cheep hotel offering the basic needs for over night stay.

Bed with clean sheets, bathroom with shower (pressure not good) and bath, no tea/coffee facilities. Close to tube/bus. Nothing to grumble at, but nothing to wow either.

Very basic accommodation.

Breakfast served very late, 08.30, too late for early starters
