A cosy clean and welcoming bed and breakfast ideally located in the beautiful dales.

This bed and breakfast is very welcoming and the owners are helpful without being intrusive.

There was not a speck of dust in the place and all rooms were well maintained. The sheets were cotton and pristine. Of particular note was the exceptional breakfast- quality food with lots of attention paid to the detail of presentation. We enjoyed an equally exceptional evening meal in the George and Dragon pub opposite- do not be put off by the external decor as the food is top cuisine.I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and hope we get the chance to visit again.

Great location. Good walking from the door.

We stayed at the Cornlee for 2 nights.

Whilst it's not going to win an award to luxury we did have a very clean room and a comfortable bed. Shower was hot with decent pressure. Jason our host was very friendly suggesting walks, pubs and even booking us into a local pub for dinner on our arrival night. Breakfast was great with a number of different options that will suit everyone. The B&B is directly on the Tour de France route so is great if your looking at riding the route or part of it. I went out cycling both morning and there are some great climbs more or less right outside the door. Aysgarth water falls are only a few minutes walk away and plenty of footpaths around the area. Equally if you like waterfalls then there is a nice fall (and a local butcher) a short walk away in West Burton. Recommend taking the time to walk over to Bolton castle, the castle is impressive and they serve really good food and plenty to do to fill the day.

1 Night in Yorkshire!

The rooms were lovely and very clean, the welcoming was friendly but could have known more about the local area.

Excellent stay

Stayed for one night at the Cornlee and found everything excellent.

The position - just across the road from an excellent pub serving evening meals, the welcome from the proprietors, the quality of the breakfast and the room itself. Just one minor thing with the room was the small en-suite with the wash basin actually in the bedroom. But this is an old period building so can be expected.

Great little B and B !

Great central location and very easy to find.

Doorstep access to some fabulous walks. With an option of just a one night stay it was ideal. The rooms were well equipped and modern in decor. Check in earlier than 4pm would be better although there was flexibility on the check out time after a wonderful freshly prepared breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble. On an evening there is an inn just across the road with good food and had a cosy atmosphere. I would be very comfy in recommending the bed and breakfast to any potential guests.

After a full day traveling and sightseeing we where greeted warmly and offered tea and cake which was just what we needed.

A table was booked for us by our hosts at the near by inn and we where given tips on local attractions. We where made very welcome, the room was lovely and had everything we could of needed. Breakfast was great and nothing was too much bother for our hosts.

We will definitely be returning and would recommend a visit.
